Far cry problems-crashing

Far cry just randomly crashes, at save points or while its loading. But it seems to happen at certain points in each profile. Updated all the patches to no avail.
Can anyone give me some insight as to why its crashing?

you might try turning off internet security and windows update when you play

Do you get an error message when the game crashes? If so what does it say?

No error message. it just like instantaniously goes back to the desktop and the games gone.

Il try turning off internet security and windows update though.

Make sure you unplug your modem before you turn off the AV protection.

It only takes 20 minutes online to get viruses/spyware or hacked without AV!

Hackers use special programs to troll the internet looking for unprotected computers...

that happned to me befor i updated mine but i just got it a while ago. ..  so if yours isnt up to v1.3 then get the patches
