Far Cry saving...?

Please, can anyone tell me if somehow you can save in Far Cry ? I heared you can, but I don't know how, what's the cheat.

If you know please tell me step by step how, 'cause I didn't cheat a game before...

If i remember correctly there is a file somewhere that needs to be edited slightly before you can do that.

u dnt need to change any files...i installed mine not so long ago and it does what he said just fine. just to clear that up..

Tanks so much, all of you, but I don't understand what exactly should I write on console...name of an level....please, I don't know how to work with console. I press ~ key, and a lots of things comes up, but nothing of saving. I'll do what you're all saying, but I need help.DD_G

hold on just a moment, and i will post a picture.

There is a picture from the console.

You bring down the console pressing the ~ key. Then type in \save_game "followed by any letters or numbers" (without quote marks). When you've done that press enter and the game saves.

it's fine with console, but I am waiting, maybe it's a way to save by pressing F key...anyone?
