Not a big fan of ATi. I had a simmilar problem and all I did was max out my Anistophic filtering and my Antyilazing (mind the spelling) The older games can be tweaked in this way to better performance. It worked for me, but I have a 6600 GT Nvidia . "The way its meant to be played"
