Is it easier to mod farcry then half life 2? because i heard the source engine is very buggy and crashes all the time and is a coders nightmare lol

Don't look for answers here. Go to farcry-maps.comfor dedicated enthusiasts. Far Cry has more mods and maps than any other game, both single player and multiplayer. The site also has a forum dedicated to design and many members willing to help you out. Far Cry is not buggy once patched and they have a utility called sandbox to enable users to make mods and design maps (levels). check it out.

I personally think it is HL2 because more people use it to mod. That makes it widely supported. Plus I think the HL2 engine a modding standard.

For modding, I personally prefer Source over CryEngine.
