Hi, I have just discovered my psu fan isn't working and have arranged for a replacement in a couple days. In the meantime will continuing to use the pc do any damage. I have checked the temps of the cpu and gpu and they are both fine but am not sure if it will cause anything to overheat that i am overlooking.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

I'd stop using it... PSU overheating may lead to your computer bursting into flames.................

press down on the fan while its turned off it may not be seated proper. also look for any wires holding it up. as for using it there is a bit of risk, not only to you psu but everything hooked into it, and TEMPS would be the LEAST of your problems considering the possibilitys

Don't use it, it will overheat the PSU, you can't detect these temperatures. This could lead to your PSU melting and maybe destroying your components.

Thanks for the advice guys, think id better leave it off then. The fan spins when pc is placed at a certain angle but not otherwise but im not gonna take the risk it stops while im not watching.

Hmm no gaming for a couple days, i got the shakes already

http://www.cd24-7.co.uk/ do not use without the fan under any cicumstances. You will cook the CPU and Graphics chip. The machine will then be rendered totally useless.
