The graphics are fine, but most new games today look good, so that really isnt something special,

The gameplay was fun, the single player was fun, all in all i liked it alot, but Tiberian Sun is still my faovite.

LMAO! Generals? That's the bastard son of C&C! I'm not saying it's a bad game, but rather that it doesn't have anything to do with the original story (which is probably why it was left out of the poll). You can make the claim that the Red Alert Universe has ties to the Tiberium Universe (Kane appears in the original Red Alert? Rumor has it that he's an advisor to Stalin), but Generals is out there all by its lonesome.

However, I wasn't a big fan of Generals or Zero Hour... They just didn't have a story that held my attention.

i've had a ton of fun with all the c&c games, and while the original will always hold a special place in my heart, it was red alert 2 that i really love the most, and still consider one of the best rts games of all time - despite its flaws

the c&c games haven't gotten any worse, so i'm sure generals and c&c3 are great games (though i've given only cursory plays of demos and left it at that), i just don't want to play the same game over and over and over any more - i get pleasure in replaying updated versions of great games, but only to a point

The acting in original was pretty decent, considering when it came out.

Yup, just good old C&C gameplay. Made me feel like I Was back in 1995 playing the original, only it was new lol. Definately deserves a spot on the poll, more so than renegade (tho I like Renegade too)
