favorite 'classic' game

a game that's kinda old but will always be fun

it has to be atleast 2+ years old

mines gotta be counter strike source, baldur's gate series (for pc, not the watered down console version), neverwinter nights also

and outlaws if you get real old school that got me hooked on games period i lost the disc though :(

Baldur's Gate. I'm not sure if it's possible to do a game like that again, most of the disk space of today's games are taken up by graphics, and it seems they spend more time on them than the actual game. Maybe if a developer got some cajones and went against the grain of graphics over gameplay, it'll happen.HavocEbonlore

There are still a few developers out there that cherish substance over style. Not many, but they exist. Also, I think a big reason so many people say "they just don't make them like they used to" is nostalgia. A lot of my favorite movies are those I saw in my childhood, even though in hindsight I realize there are some modern ones that are equally good if not better.
