Half-Life 1.
It started it all, and yet I can still start it up today and be blown away.
The starting train sequence was a brilliant move, and while the zen levels were the greatest, I think we can forgive that :P
Plus where else can you overcook a meal in a microwave :P
[QUOTE="Jinroh_basic"]and let's not forget the Opposing Force, one of the greatest FPS expansion ever. Couple this with the timeless Half Life, you get a package that completely outshines HL2 and its episodes. mrking
Blue shift is 100 times better then Opposing Force
How? It had no new enemies or weapons (in fact, it didn't even have all the weapons from the normal game) and it was unbelievably short for a Half-Life game. It did add the HD pack, sure, but then that also upgraded the other two HL games to look just as good, so it had no graphical advantage over them.
Not to say it was bad, I liked it quite a lot and it was a worthy addition. But there's just no denying it didn't exactly feature any new content or that it wasn't impressive for its length by any means. Why did you like it more?
