Favourite TF2 class

What is your favourite TF2 class, and why?

Spy: I just love backstabing. Sneak behind, and shank. I don't usually use cloak, unless I need to destroy sentries. I especially like to get Heavies, and Medics.

Spy is overplayed IMO when they aren't needed. (Somtimes it is good to have 2 spies, other times there is little reason for them).

I love the demoman, he can be good at defending, and offense.

Sniper. They are great at class-killing and people accuse me of hacking.GodLovesDead

lol are there even hacks for tf2 yet.... thats just stupid, why would anyone hack...

Pyro - No other class makes people run away from you like the Pyro does, you get to burn people and even if your killed there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the person you set on fire die a few seconds after you did.

Demoman - A great offensive and defensive class as his grenades are dangerous and great at bouncing off walls or around corners. While his sticky bombs can be really useful at defending doorways or objectives.

Medic - Can't stress enough how useful this class is and every team needs atleast one of these guys to help heal players on their team. Also the medic is a surprisingly good offensive class aswell, i've killed countless people with the needle gun and medical saw lol.

Sniper is my favorite class/weapon in FPS games.

I go heavy if there's a good medic on our team. I also think Scout is the most under rated class in the game, they are deadly at close range.

Used to be spies but when you realize they are useless in competitive matches you dont want to play them anymore so now its demoman(who owns)

Demoman: Great well-rounded class, and nothing beats lobbing a grenade into a crowded room and seeing the body parts fly. Plus, he's good at getting rid of those nasty little turrets.

Scout: I like him because he's fast, and I can pretty much take out any class except Engineers.

Pyro: Sometimes, I like to fight up-close-and-personal.

Been playing the Demoman and Spy the most...

After those its the Pyro and Soldier.

1.Engineer - helps push forward/establishing territory. teleporters are extremely helpful to keep up a relentless attack. also keeps your team from loosing if you have a crappy team(turns into a stalemate though)

2.Demoman - great at taking out a big area filled with enemies, grea at defending territory. "KABOOM" taunt

3.Pyro - Fire keeps killing them even after you die. can damage alot of folks if they are packed in tight corridors

It depends what map. But overall, its a toss up between Soldier and Medic.

i hope you don't mind me asking.....but is a game of 6 maps really worth that much? i'm not saying it's not.....but you know....it's not. :? maybe i should wait for the mod community to shape things up a bit.....

For me it's the sniper. Im quite good picking people off. Love picking off scouts on the fort map when they jump onto the bridge roof.

Other than the sniper i love the heavy and engineer

Terms of kills:

1. Demoman

2. Heavy

3. Soldier

Spy, Engineer and Scout. I get the most kills with the engi, because the sentry guns are awesome @ level 3. I love how people come to get the intel (on 2fort) and find themselves face to face with my sentry :D

Engineer! I love building sentry guns in random places; even if it only gets like 1 kill before it dies, it worth it because people are like "Wtf is that doing there?"

Then I like the demoman. Its fun setting sticky bombs and hiding them, then retreating and blowing up medic+heavy tag teams.

I would like spy, but without friendly fire everyone just shoots eachother to make sure.

My friend was playing on my account and got 29 points with the spy with no deaths, one time. lol My highest is like 14 or so with the spy.

I would have to say my favorite is the Pyro then the Spy.

Scout for offense. it's very fun, and the speed helps a lot.

I like Demoman for defense, but sometimes I use Pyro and Soldier as offensive-defense.
