Well I have both and my pc has amazing specs as well so I can play the game in full performance for PC. BUT my question is which one do you think is better (thats only if you played both)? I mean for 08 i found the 360 version was a lot better made than the PC version so I was just wondering the same for 09

Thanks in advance.

why don't you skip a year (at least) and just enjoy your 08 version? there's really no point in getting the newest version every year.

Does the game allow the use of the Xbox 360 gamepad or any others? Also I heard they were trying mouse support, how does that work?

Sorry to jump in but I would like this game as well at some point.

To be honest I prefer my sports games on a hdtv and a gamepad, so personally I would go with a console version.

PC fifa = ps2 port if im not mistaken it still looks lot sharper while playing than on x360, but fifa from x360 is more attractive during cutsceens and loading etc. here is one screen from pc version i took so far @least graphics wise x360 fifa > x360 pes > ps3 pes pc is in some things bether but as said before uses old ps2 version of game it looks bether than ps3 pes thats for sure and lot sharper than x360 fifa, but as said before, fifa 360 looks more attractive during cutsceens and loading

Despite the fact that I own FIFA 09 for PC, I would say that it's better on console, most sports games are better on the console.

PC version = more options for controls (360 controller, keyboard and mouse new controlling setup for 09 is cool and any older controllers), also has better graphics and sound if you have good sound and video cards.

360 = More online options (the pc version has vs mode online, but not BE A PRO 10 vs 10).

Also the PC version was 19$ for me, while the 360 is 50-60$

I have two controllers that work for the PC version of Fifa 09. A wired 360 controller and another older MS one. They both work perfectly and can be setup how you want.

I wouldn't even consider buying a sports game for PC. Fifa 09 is awesome by the way.

Why not when you can use a 360 controller? its exactly the same as the 360 version. Just better graphics and sound on pc, while 360 version has more online options. I own pc and 360 versions of nba2k9 and fifa 09 and the only difference are these things..... PC = 19$ instead of 50 or 60$, 360 has more onlien options, pc has better graphics and sound, PLUS pc has more options for controllers (360 controller, older gamepads, ps2,ps3, keyboard and mouse,etc..).

There is no way I am sitting at my PC desk with a controller in my hand or am I interested in chugging it over to the big screen tv. What will I do when my mates come over? I don't even thing the PC version has the same online options and I doubt that many people play online. Sports games on PC just doesn't interest me and they are much better suited for consoles.

Its fine with mates, we sit on the coach as we do with the 360 version. I have a 24" HD widscreen on pc and the game looks and plays great. While on console i have a 50 inch 1080p. Its really not that differnt imo (besides the advntages i listed above, better graphics/sound/control options (and is only 19$) on pc, while 360 has more onlien options

I have 2 xbox 360 wireless controllers with the wireless gaming receiver for windows, both show up in control panel but for some reason the second one wont work in fifa 09... please any help? When starting a game the player 1 controller shows up and then only the keyboard, no sign of the player 2 controller. Not too sure how to fix this. Do you have multiple xbox controllers or just the one?

360 is you want the online TEAM games (you can still play onlien versus on pc mode).

PC if you want more mods and a MUCh cheaper price,etc..

I bought the PC version because it was 15.99, while the 360 version was still 50$.

The pc version isnt as bad as some make it out to be. The demo sucks, but if you get teh full game and PATCH it, alot of the bugs will be fixed. Yes i wish it was more NEXT GEN graphics,etc.. but I enjoy the gameplay.

What are you talking about?

How is it better control and better fun for two players on 360 version? Ive played both and imo they are identical in that aspect.

You do know that you can play the PC version with any controller you want right? I play Fifa 09 on PC with 3 friends at a time, use a 360 controller, ps2 controller and some old microsoft one. We have JUST as much fun on the pc version, as we all do when we are over at my buds place playing it on 360.

The graphics are also no better on the 360 version imo, they are about even, with maybe a sligth edge to the pc version. Here is a screenshot of mine from the PC version.

Only advantage the 360 version has is that its got the TEAM ONLINE play (but its also 50$ instead of 15$ or 19$)

Im not to sure buddy, I just use WIRED controllers (wired 360, wired MS one and a new wired ps2 i just got). They all work awesome.
Its alot of fun playing 2 or 3 player coop in a season with friends over. Either i play on my 23" Widescreen on PC, or we go video out to my 1080p HDTV.
