They are making a worse version on purpose! They always do that, but this time I'm quite pissed of because the new engine seems pretty cool...on consoles!

I can't see how this is a good choice from EA - business-wise. Sure, it's cheaper to make the PC version without the new engine, but they'll have to make it PC compatible next year, or the year after that anyway. It's not a large number of people who just might choose the PC version over consoles if it had the new engine, but now those people will pick the console version, which means less money for EA. Now it's just a hassle because they have to develop so many different versions. Or EA Sports is going to end their PC support - again.

EA Sports is dead to me (for the time being) because of a lack of a modern NHL game on PC.

I probley will not buy it. I did really enjoy fifa 11 though. I rember all the rumors that they were going to put extra effect in the pc verision game. DX11 support and all that jazz

Pissing roosters. F you EA. I've been buying FIFA for years. My Xbox broke again last year and I bought FIFA 11 for PC that year. It was exactly like FIFA 10 but with different menus and new rosters. So now FIFA 12 is going to be like FIFA 11? What's the point of taking out these features, it's not like my PC couldn't handle that extra stuff. I'm pissed.

It was never the answer, it's not even an alternative nowadays, it's garbage and always was but at least people had an excuse to play this thing when FIFA was way behind and be thankful that FIFA is now 1 year behind consoles it at least advances unlike PES that is actually taking steps backwards. 11 was like 10 on consoles and 12 will be like 11 on consoles and so on, these new simulations won't be in the PC version for now but hey, at least the PC version isn't 7 years behind like it used to.

Remember when reps from EA Sports claimed Madden was coming back to PC a year or so ago and basically lied to us? I can't believe anyone still supports them.

Thats your Opinion, pes has way more detail in the players and as huge soccer fan myself (i also play irl) i find the gameplay much more realistic and fluid. It lets you play just as Barcelona is playing right now. Also the Champions League (and a few other cups) is a nice plus on PES.
