figuring out your power consumption?

Alright i would like to know how i can find out the current power consumption of my PC. What programs offer this kind of feature?

You aren't using more then 250-270w at load. A quality 400w PSU is more then enough.
It takes a lot of time and research to become a human power consumption calculator.

You aren't using more then 250-270w at load. A quality 400w PSU is more then enough.
It takes a lot of time and research to become a human power consumption calculator.

lol thankyou M. Power Calculator, and what if i slap a 8800gts 320mb in my pc, do you think it will be enough to power it? My psu is a TT 470W 29A on the 2 12V rails (if you are sig-blind:P).

Dat would be fine.

Average system(mobo, recent dualcore, ram, hd, audio, fans, opticaldrives)-
~140-180w

+

8800GTS- ~150w
8800GTX- ~170w
HD2900XT- ~200w

So you would be right around 300w under load with a GTS.
Again a quality 400w PSU with ~27-28amps on the +12v rail would suffice.

When you get extra money, you might want to think about upgrading that PSU to something of a better quality but it should be perfectly fine for now.
