Fileplanet "Stupidly Huge Beta coming soon!"

Any educated theorys on what it could possible be? will it be PC only or Multiplat? ( Since they did Battlefield Bad Company too )....

Something huge... the first time he *claims* thye have had something as * Stupidly huge * as this....

Stupidly huge on the PC scene... that have release windows that would allow beta testing in the next few weeks :

World of Warcraft: WOTLK is the number 1 that comes to mind... but do Blizzard normally do stuff like this?

Starcraft II?

Dawn of War 2?

Left 4 Dead?

.... what could it be? Warhammer online? ( though that aint exactly bigger than any other MMO's ).

If it's Left 4 Dead they've got themself a subscriber. SuperBeast

Problem with the Left 4 Dead theory is, that Valve do thier beta's inhouse, until theres a beta teaser before release.

Again, would be cool, but that doesnt seem "Stupidly Huge" .. compared to the slew of other Shooter beta's they have had.

I know, I shouldnt be falling for that kind of marketing hype, but hey it could hurt them if they are lying just as much.

Is it to early for Warhammer Online?

I have heard so many bad things about that game though.. I think it will get owned by it's own hype.

the BF: Heroes beta is already running... I'm in it, just go to the site cos u can probly still sign up and will likely get a spot eventually

OH LAWD, please be starcraft, no matter how many days I have to leave my computer on to download it, I have 56k.

I say Warhammer, because it is "huge", so the beta should be relatively huge too:

again, there is already a Warhammer online beta... i got into that too o.O (not sure if its still running, as i havent gone on in a long time)... unless they do like.. another beta, for some reason. besidesm, that game is coming really soon isnt it? probly not time to start one now

left4dead would be great... i cant really think of many that would make sense of that "darkness is soon" though. he says to read the rest of his blogs carefully, so i assume he will be doing similar things in those, we will just have to read those and see what comes up. if its going to be a beta, i guess it must be multiplayer... so i guess that rules out some of the survival horror games coming out

It definitely not that because Stardock's policy is if you preorder the game you get into beta so they wouldn't do it over fileplanet.

Oh and its definitely not WoW's xpack because that is only avaliable to subscribers of the game.

Well, it could always register with your email/account in the same way you do with an Opt in key .... only you gaurentee to get it. ... also .... WoW DELL laptops with beta keys ... its not as far fetched as it might of been in previous years.

Those games dont match the hints, some of which dont release til mid 2009 ... left 4 dead is the most likely there, SPORE and Far Cry 2 are pretty much finished.

Hmmmmm they seem to be hyping it up as the greatest beta they have ever held so im thinking its going to be somthing very big. Its either going to be Warhammer online, Warhammer 40k dawn of war 2 (probably too early) Starcraft 2 (doubt it) or WoWarcraft wotlk. Oh god plz dont let it be a mmo :(

we can only hope, I have been waiting for that game from the beginning. If you look at the wiki page it says estimated release is 2008!
