I see no reason any reasonable individual would give this game a second try, unless of course it's free to play.
The game was awful, even the developers apologized for it. They tried to sell an incomplete and badly designed product, much like APB tried to do.
Why should they be given a second shot?

Oh oh here's why in my opinion. It's a (experience from what I've played) sandbox mmorpg. It's a big title name but it's not a dumb themepark mmorpg like the rest, I am so god damn tired of themepark mmorpgs. So do give this game a second chance!
The way I see it, they let a lot of fans down and "stole" tons of money from all those fans. They knew it wasn't fully finished, but they still decided to release it when they did. The only way they will get those customers back is only if they go F2P or bring down the price to $5 a month. With games like GW2 coming out soon, I really don't see a reason why people would waste their money on this unfinished game.
For me to have any interest in that game they would have to rebuild the entire world. It was so damn bland and empty with nothing to do that I wouldn't even play it even tho there was no fee. With a fee added I don't get why anyone would play it.. I sunk over 10000 hours into XI (I have no idea why) but XIV was just so bad it was depressing.
I loved FFXI but it had its flaws. Im willing to give this a second chance because it looks good and I want it to succeed. We will get another free 30 days right?

People like you are exactly why developers can make crummy games and people will still buy them. It's kind of sad.
Yeah, I dont think people will give this a second chance. I can only see it ever being popular on the PS3 release and through PS3 owners as the MMO market isnt all that competitive on that platform.
