Case: Cooler Master HAF 922

GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 460 x2

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965

MoBo: Asus Evo AMD3

Mem: G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 4GB (2x2GB)

This will be my first PC that I actually build, so I'm a bit nervous and want to make sure everything works out. How does all that fit together? Any changes you would recommend? How will the cooling be? Would you recommend any extra cooling?

It looks great! I really like your choices. What kind of power supply did you choose? You picked out a hard drive and DVD drive too? Do you plan on overclocking your CPU?

I just looked at some of the reviews for that particular brand of the GTX 460's you're planning on buying. They weren't very positive. I'd stick to a trusted brand like Gigabyte or EVGA.

I realized I forgot to pick a power supply. Oops, What wattage would you recommend? Also, I've seen reviews for the Palit that were pretty positive. I'll keep doing research on it though.

Something like this-

Although if you can afford to spend a bit more, get one that's modular. That way you won't have as much cable-clutter inside your case. If you don't mind using a few zip-ties to tuck extra cables away, than this PSU is a high-quality unit that will get the job done for your system.

Recommended brands are- Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, (some) Cooler Master, Silverstone, XFX, (some) OCZ, Rosewill Green series (not their other lines)

Do I have to buy an SLI bridge separate or will the cards or mobo come with one? Also, if my GPU has a 6 pin connector but my PSU has 8 pin, will that work? Can I plug 6 pin into 8 pin?

I'd get a Gigabyte 890FX-UD5 for the motherboard and a pair of 6870's instead followed by this PSU:

The Coolermaster Haf X is also a better choice than the older 922.

You'll need a 8pin to 6 pin power adapter, but it's likely the video card comes with one.

From the looks of the picture, the card you picked comes with a single (2)4pin molex to a single 6 pin power adapter. Either they just didn't photo the second one, or it only comes with one. Either way it's not a 8pin to 6pin adapter. Although PSU's sometimes give you such adapters, too.

As for the SLI cable question, I don't know anything about SLI. It's not in the picture anyway. But no one seems to be complaining about it in the reviews, so I assume that the bridge is either included, or the cards doesn't need one to go into SLI mode.
