does the monitor need to have a DVI input so i can get more than 1080p or would other Inputs work just as fine ?

I would suggest getting the BenQ option four monitor. It has an a lot better contrast than the other monitors. Also I would suggest DVI as it is way better than VGA.

One thing: Get a P67 board if you want to overclock.

MSI P67S-C43, socket 1155 Motherboard

nice suggestion i think this would be perfect.

I wonder if monitor option 2 could do what is needed cuz it seems the best offer

I was trying to stick to budget. But yes, the ASUS board is better.

but in what sense would the EFI BIOS help ?

don't get the 570 its a waste of $$. Get a cheaper card like the 6870 or a GTX 460 1gb. I hear that the 600 series of nvidia and the 7000 series of AMD are going to be released. With video card releases coming out this often I see no point in going all out on a crazy video card. Besides 2X 6870's in CF crush a gtx 580 and they cost $450 for both cards with prices coming down even lower.
