Finding Dungeon Siege 2 to hard

I bought the deluxe edition a long time ago but i have had the hardest time getting into the game because i do find it ever so hard at the beginning. Iv yet to even get far in the game before giving up. I am just so weak regardless of how much effort i put into my character at the start, and monsters are just to strong and in large numbers, i have to result to dieing coming back, dieing coming back and repeating every encounter.

I need some advice, i really wanna get into this game.

Attack one enemy at a time. when you attack it, start running the other way and every second or so turn around and attack it with a long range shot. If you have disturbed multiple enemies then you need to run away from them and not attack them.

I agree, it is very difficult. The enemies are too powerful for my characters because it only takes two to kill me. So that is why i try to take them on one at a time.

I guess its a bit like Diablo 1 in that aspect, Run screaming into a mob of monsters, and get served... It is a slow and methotical game of baiting, trapping, and single out the weakest.

well, they said it was easy because once u get to the medium and hard settings you are able to get more people to join your party (5 at medium and 6 at hard) and then it becomes extremely easy to the point of boredom, IMO. But back on topic, i havent played the game for a long time, so i cant remember if u have abilities yet that early in the game. If you do though make sure u use them because they can be game changers if used right.

roll a warrior, I just remembered body parts flying everywhere as a warrior, pretty unstoppable.
