Firefox Problem!!!

I'm facing this real BIG problem with firefox...I can't seem to Download any file completely.
No matter what file i try to download(unless it's something really really small),it show's download complete,and stops download when in fact only half(or even less)of the file's been downloaded.
I've tried clearing my cache and cookies and stuff but it doesn't seem to work!

I recently even got my comp formatted and OS(XP SP3) reinstalled but still THE PROBLEM prevails.
Problem's with both firefox3 and firefox2.

beings that you did a full OS reinstall and if you reinstalled FF, then it sounds like your ISP is limiting/breaking the connection, you are having connection Hiccups, or your Firewall Software or Router settings that are causing a Hiccup. Otherwise i would say try some remedies here:

I agree with the ISP limiting your d/l with an interruption.

Try using an addon that will allow your download to restart, see if that helps. You aren't using dialup, are you? That would definitely explain it.

The only other thing may be a bad NIC card or driver, but as you can surf and download not likely either.

I am not sure that your firewall or router would be causing it, since you are able to download small files, and you are able to get partial downloadsas well. It definitely sounds more like the ISP.

Do you have another computer in the house you can test a download with? That could help eliminate your computer as the fault.
