I wanna build a Gaming PC. Dont want to have to change the parts for about 5 years, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's possible to live on a cpu for 5 years but good luck with the gpu

well im not actually gonna buy anything yet i just want a understanding of what im gonna buy like what cpu what gpu, what case etc

@MonsieurX: my 5850 is like 5 years old and runs ok. That said I just bought it's replacement.

That's the point,nobody should be expecting 5 years of maxing everything with a card

That's a long time for a gaming computer. The CPU might last 5 years with acceptable performance, but not the GPU. Changing/adding HDDs is a small operation and is easy to do. Not expensive either so I am going to guess that you will change some of those parts over a period of 5 years.
