Everything seems like it should be a solid build, though I'm sure there are quite a few who would recommend the 2500K CPU due to the overclock ability. The only thing that I would change would be swapping out the Gigabyte 1GB 560ti for the EVGA 2GB superclocked 560 as there are at least some games that take advantage of - or need - more than 1GB of video ram for max details with consistent performance. I only mention it because one of the main games I wanted to max when I put together my main machine was GTA IV and it does need more than 1GB. That said, the extra money may not be worth it for you.

If you're not planning on running any applications that take advantage of 8 threads, you might be better off going with an i5 2500 or 2500K and using the money you saved for a GTX 570 or 2GB GTX 560 Ti.

And I'm assuming you've already got an adequate power supply and HDD?

Don't make him waste money for a pathetic excuse of a console port.

Bottom line: Games needing more than 1GB vRAM is just BS unless you're running a crazy multi monitor setup. And even then you need a GTX 580 or better to have that horsepower to overcome the vRAM deficiency. That and Rockstar just fails.
