First NEW PC in about 4+ years. What good games did I miss?

Ok, I recently got a new pc. A pretty good new pc, runs crysis 'alright' on high/v high on vista.

Anyway, the main point of the post, I last got a new PC about 4 years ago, but when i got it, it was hardly 'new' in terms of specs, so I've missed about 5years worth of PC games! I have a 360 so i've played most decent multiplatform games.

My question is, now I've finaly got a decent, up-to-date pc, what good games are out there that have bin released in the last 4 years!?

[games I currently have are: Crysis, STALKER, Oblivion, HalfLife2, CoD4, UT3 and The Witcher]

their are gonna be a ton of RTS's you missed...if you have been a console only gamer.

Rome and Medieval 2: Total War.

Try:

Mafia (brilliant, amust play)

Hidden & dangerous 2 (also great!)

Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay

Far Cry

Alien V pred (1 & 2 though 1 is OLD)

Conflict Freespace 1 & 2

X3 Reunion

Civilization 4

operation flashpoint or Arma Armed Assult

Neverwinter nights 2

Diablo 2 (very old though)

Supreme commander

looks like you've got a pretty good roster already. i'd add company of heroes to that list. and i'd get the orange box, even though you already have hl2.

if you like FPSs and love RPGs, you may want to give vampire the masquerade: bloodlines a try.

Since you love RPGs, check out Gothic series, Vampire: Bloodlines and Kotor. There's not many modern FPSs that can match Crysis and Cod 4 imo. HL2 and episode 2 are the only ones that come to mind. Maybe I'm just tired though...

I'd add a mmorpg like World Of Warcraft for being in the crowd (buy the first expansion so you dont have to download a BG of patches) or for for better graphics: Lord Of The Rings Online. Those are both succesful in terms of execution.

I'd also add Civilization 4 + Beyond The Sword- im not much into strategy games but this one i like in all its complexity.

Consider getting the Orange Box. That game have included Half-LIfe 2, episode one and two, team fortress 2, and portal. Team fortress 2 is an multiplayer only game, while portal is an innovative puzzle game.
