Computer keeps auto shutting down, it POSTs, I can go into BIOS for a bit everything seems fine. I think there's something wrong with the PSU, was working fine today, it's just so strange. I checked everything internally, I don't see a problem.

First thing I did was I cleared CMOS, everything is stock. The machine was running fine for about a year and just today? Hmm...

Could be an electrical problem too. Do you connect your computer to the wall, or to a UPS?

Both, that's what I thought it was at first, I tried a few different wall jacks same problem. I've never had this issue before, everything is being read fine in BIOS.

If is POSTs, does it boot into Windows? Auto shut downs are typically electrical related, so it could be the PSU. Just for testing you can try removing half the memory, then swap the other half to see if maybe a memory stick decided to become a problem. Other than that my money is on the PSU.

When it's plugged into the UPS, it doesn't POST. OCZ GameXStream 850w.

Hmm, I think it is the PSU... Every component I remove prolongs the start up life about 20 seconds. lol

EDIT: Uhh... I'm a little confused, it's working fine now, just started working fine...

EDIT2: There was a fly splattered on my CMOS jumper, cleaned it up and I'm good to go.
