Ok IDK if you guys read all the posts, the first ones or just the last. But everything has been answered so far except for the last post.

OKay this is what i have so far:

Case: Cooler Master 690 ~ 79.99

HD: WD 320GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682213609849.99

Ram: Corsair 4gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184 19.99 After MRI

Cd Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151173 25.99

Moniter: Not sure between http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236052

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236059 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236053

179.99-239.99

Power Supply:Corsair 750W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006 99.99 after MRI

Video Card : GTX 275 ( 259$) if not HD4890 229.99$

Total : 686-746

I Need a Cpu and a motherboard. I was thinking AMD Phenom II x4 940 for 225. But after a motherboard that would put me way over my budget.

My budget is about 900$ But i can go to 1000$.......

Any ideas?

EDIT:

How does this soundhttps://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=9667845 That with a Cm690, 179,99 ( Q9400), a HD4890/GTX 275 and a moniter = 980-1020. My budget.

IS it all compaible, and still which moniter is the best for cash out of the three lised above?

I agree with General_X but if you want to save a bit on the motherboard, I have this one - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186146 which is $57 including shipping. I look in my sig to see that I am running the e8500,4gb ram DDR2 800, 8800gt, etc. But thats if you want to save about $40 and is probably not as good for overclocking like the otherone(haven't overclocked mine thus far).

Bad Link, it won't show it. Put it in saved wishlist, hit shared, name it, then we may be able to find it

Get a 550w Corsair instead, Intel e8400 + the mobo listed in the 2nd post of this thread.

There we go i fixed the link https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=9667845. My Questions that remain are basically : Are they compatible? Do i need thermal compound or does the Q9400 come wit some? Which should i get HD4890 or GTX 275. The 4890 is 30$ cheaper... and if so which model? ANd last which of the moniters should i get?

EDIT: One more, is the moniter i listed in the wishlist better then the one listed in this thread? I think the 2nd one posted..Not sure.

Everything is compatible and should work perfectly together. The aftermarket heatsink you have listed does not come with thermal compound, you will have to buy it seperately or buy one that comes with thermal paste pre-applied like the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro. Also there aren't any monitors in the shared wishlist you provided. Edit: I would also take a look at this monitor.

Talking about the ones listed in my first post. Moniter: Not sure between http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236052 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236059 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236053 179.99-239.99 And that fan doesn't work with Quad Cores but i see your point. Thanks. Any idea if a Q9400 has a thermal compound thing with it?

I would not choose any of the monitors you picked out since they all have 16x9 aspect ratios, whereas the standard for computer games is a 16x10 aspect ratio (1440x900, 1680x1050, and 1920x1200). The problem with the monitors you picked is that many games won't be able to run in the monitor's native resolution, causing it to be distorted. Also the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro will fit your Quad Core since it can fit all socket 775 cpu's. Or else you could use the CPU's stock cooler which will also come with thermal paste preapplied, but not in a tube for use on other heat sinks.

Um thanks but the first one is over and the second one is under. I'm looking for the 180-220$ Price range. And a question, Does just because a moniter provide higher resolutions mean its better? Cuz i always thought that 1680 x 1050 was bad and that 1920 x 1200. Was the way to go, well atleast with a card as powerful as mine?

1680x1050 is perfectly fine. 1920x1200 just means you won't be able to max games for as long and will have to upgrade your gfx card more often.

Alright but does 1680 x 1050 still give beutifull graphics, cuz i don't want to waste a HD4890.

Ok so these are hopefully my last questions:

IS the artic cooler 7 worth 40$ if im not going to overclock my Q9400?

How does this look https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=9667845 I just need to add a Cooler MAster 690 + Q9400.

Is everything alright? ( As in compatible and nothing else in its price range destroys it?)

Whats a good armband that i should get? Any Specifics? Or are they all the same?

If the Artic Cooler isn't worth the 40$ if i don't overclock do i need Thermal Paste or does the Stock Fan have some pre-applied? Was reading thru the product and i found "Intel® designed thermal solution (Fan, Heatsink)" . So im guessing this mean's it's pre-applied and that means i wouldn't need to buy any.

For the HD4890 I'm basically deciding between the Xfx model and Saphhire. What do you think?

Something else i discovered is that the Cm690 only has 3 of the 7 possible fans. Should i get fans for the other possible places? If so any specific brands?

In this video at around 23 seconds what is that? Is that some kind of fan control? Anyone know what kind? it looks BA.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSMuXAltKo0&feature=related

And the last question: Is the motherboard there better then this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128372.

And thanks for everyone who's helped so far.

On top of those questions asked is this motherboard worth the extra 15$? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128358 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128359 And if someone could please answer my questions from my last post to it would really help. Because I NEED to have the pieces ordered by tomorrow. Cuz after then i won't have a computer to order off anymore...lol.
