I am currently conceptualizing my pc build and I was hoping to get some feedback from you guys.

Case: NZXT Guardian

CPU: i5 3470

Motherboard: MSI Intel Z68 (B3) Chipset ATX DDR3 1066 Intel - LGA 1155 Motherboards Z68A-G43 (G3)

GPU: AMD Radeon 7950

And then a 1 TB hard drive and everything else needed (fans, monitor, optical drive, etc.)

How long would this build last me if I like to play games on ultra to high graphics settings at 1080p?

Get a 3570k instead.

You may not want to overclock, but give it a couple of years and you'll regret not picking the K version.
