This is my first time building a PC from scratch, I've already got a good case and disk drive so I haven't included those. I've been looking around and have selected what I think would be a good build, but I want some outside input on it. I plan to be using it for gaming with games from both the past and coming out in the future so I obviously want it to last me a good long while. Also I won't be over-clocking anything so that's another point to include.

MSI 790FX-GD70 AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard
ATI Radeon HD 5850 1GB
AMD Phenom II X4 955@ 3.2GHz
G.Skill 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 RAM
Western Digital 640GB HDD
Corsair 750 Watt Power source

Thats a superb build I would call anything more than that a waste of money really, also overclocking high end a product is overrated to say the least.

Yeah and don't forget to post pics of your rig in the rate my rig thread at the top of the page after you finish building it. It's a tradition really ;)
