These are most of the games I've played so don't recommend any of these, but any other new offline games are fair game, I'm not picky.

Galactic Civilization II.thusaha

I HATED sins, but I like Most turn based games. If it's really similar to Sins I might not like it though.

Oh God. Too many games. I couldn't be bothered to read all those. I'm just gonna go limbo over here and suggest something that, hopefully won't be on that list. I suggest playing Vampire The Masquerade. It's a great RPG with a interesting story, great dialogue, excellent and varied character/class selection and one of the most original game worlds in any RPG. If you don't feel like RPGing right now then you should try the NOLF series. Phenomenal FPS' with good humour, hilarious characters, great story and an all around fun and enjoyable shooter. One of the best IMO.

It almost looks like you have every PC game ever made (not really, but all the good ones I wanted to mention you already listed).

Except for Company of Heroes.

... and Civilization 4. And Cryostasis.

Why dont you finish playing some of the games that you already have ? Perusing your list there are around 13 games that youve only played for about an hour. I think your using this thread to show off your games collection.:P I see you havent played Medieval Total war 2 or Empire total war so i reccomend those for you to try.

^ Cant really be showing off since Steam offers makes them dirt cheap. Go play tf2 as spammoman... or just spend more time on the games you already have.

like i said, you have pretty much all the major/critically acclaimed titles since 06. maybe you can try finishing the games you have, or better still, take a break from gaming.

Wow thanks for the list! I got Tropico 3, Kings Bounty + the sequel, torhclight, and Machinarium, because I've been wanting to try those all out. I will look into your other recommendations as well. I'm definately gonna get NWN 1 and 2 soon, and I will read into Anno and Drackensang, dont know much about those

Baldur's Gate 2. If you want one game that will keep you occupied for several weeks, go with this.

Deus Ex - 1 hour /threadVfanek

I played that before I got xfire. But yeah I do want to play it again, that's why I've got under an hour on it. It didn't work well on Vista but I have Win7 now so I will re-install that for sure.

Yeah Medieval 2 looks really good, and so does Empire. With the newer patches have the enemy AI improved to as good as in Rome and Medieval 2 TW? The negative posts I've read about that has kept me on the fence for this release. Might just skip it and get Napoleon TW, assuming that has better AI..

I have those discs sitting around my parents house (assuming they didn't throw them out). I never beat them, will try and find them next time I stop by.

I was gonna start BG1 in a few weeks. Should I skip the first and go with the second?

A) Stop making it seem like you're bragging. Tell us exactly what you want to play, and what you generally like, and your computer specs.
B) Like Reddan said, try finishing some of the games you have instead of buying new ones.
C) Get more into RPGs. They last forever and are always worth the time and energy. Like I said a minute ago, try Baldur's Gate 2, then go with KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights. They are sometimes difficult to begin playing if you're not used to it, but try to grow some patience and you will fall in love with them.
D) Try Paradox games, such as Hearts of Iron III and Europa Universalis III. They have a high learning curve, but their depth of play is incredible. (Make sure to get the EU3 collector's edition which comes with a great strategy guide which will help you tremendously).

Yes. BG1 is too difficult to really get into, but BG2 is one of the best games I've played, and I've played nearly every PC game made in the last 15 years. Also try to get into older games, such as Dungeon Keeper, Sacrifice, and Giants: Citizen Kabuto. If you can get past the graphics, they are some of the best entertainment to be found on the PC.

I like RPGS. You can see KOTOR 2 on my xfire, and I already played KOTOR 1 the day it came out, back when I played consoles. I love RPGS more than shooters. I've got a bunch of shooters played but they are generally pretty short campaigns. RPGS last awhile so I try and stick with the best ones. Morrowind is one of my most played games. Not trying to brag. You could easily get all the games I have for $50 if you're smart. Although alot of them I got awhile ago, and I had to pay much more back then.

The point of this thread was to see the games I personally skipped out on, that other GS users like. So I was not being specific. I'm open minded and dont mind trying something Im not sure I will like.

I've actually been keeping an eye out for Citizen Kabuto the past few months. If I happen across I will definately pick it up. Tried sacrafice years and years ago, it was ok I guess. I will listen to you and skip BG1. I skipped Diablo 1 originally and was happy that I did.

It is very, very cheap to get a copy on Amazon. Dungeon Keeper is cheap as well, although I'd go with DK2 since it works on virtually any machine these days and has a few fixes which, in my mind, made it slightly superior to the original (although DK1's campaign was better). Apologies, the links wouldn't link on Gamespot.
