Well i checked online and saw a new version for my BIOS and so i went on downloading them but then when i tried to copy the files to a floppy disk i noticed my computer doesn't recognize my floppy disk drive...it is if it isn't there what can i do?

I think floppys only like 8mbs so its prolly because they suck to much

Doesn't matter the only way to flash BIOS is through a floppy disk

What kind of motherboard do you have?

If its ASUS they have a quick flash tool that runs in Windows and you don't need a floppy

Open up the case and make sure the cable and power are connected. But you can also use a USB Flash Drive if you have one and set it to boot properly. Look here.

They are 1.44 megs to very rarely 3 megs. Anyways, you can always flash using a usb thumbstick and make sure its plugged in that happened to me before.
