Do you feel you'll be playing AOC for years to come if they say patch some of the bugs and maybe come out with expansions raising the level cap and adding new features or do you think you'll get bored after your subscription runs out? Also does the combat system make you feel more invovled with the game compared to WOW's combat system?
Depends, I bet most people are playing the game as a time filler for WAR, and WoTLK. I persoanlly am not sure if I will stay with the game when WoTLK comes out. I also think the game gets kinda boring after a while. I don't know if that is my opinion or if it is just me.
I played it for 3 days but abandoned it cause i couldn't stand all the instancing,it destroyed all the "world" feeling and i used to be a huge AOC fan supported before it came out and claimed but it would be the best mmo ever,but i was hugely disappointed,a shining example of wasted opportunity.I'll never go back to wow cause i'm tired of it too.As for WAR i don't know .we'll see

Probably not for years to come, I'm off and on when it comes to MMO games, so at most I'll probably play it for 3 months then take a break. But AoC definitely has some awesome combat in my opinion. It is a lot more involving.
I thought I was going to play AoC until WAR comes out, but at level 28 I just stopped playing... it isn't polished and it feels very bland and depressing, and there is no point in me getting to level 80 when I find everything about the game pretty boring, not motivated, don't care.
