How closely do you think they inspect the cpu socket pins before exchanging? There was one noticeable slightly bent cpu pin on the mobo so I bent it back so it blends in with the others around it. Very hard to see unless inspected with a magnifying glass.

i'd be surprised if they looked at your board for more than 5 seconds

if theres a pin bent, they have to fix it so its not your problem.
