For those who have the first person shooter Prey for pc - please help me out

Hey I just noticed something for the first time when playing Prey- After I played the very first level and just for fun started a New game in Prey the Casino mode has gotten unlocked

Now I read on the internet, basicallyin every source,that you had to beat the game to opencasino mode, but it was unlocked right after we where taken to the spaceship in the start after the prologue in the bar- is this the same with you - Just wondering about this, since everywhere it says you have to beat the game first to unlock casino mode

The reason I ask is because my pc has been acting funny lately, when playing games and such and I really just need to know if casino mode is unlocked after you get to the very first level in the spaceship. Just press new game after the prologue in Prey and see if casinomode is avaiable - thats all I need to know. I would really appreciate an answer

I don't know about any "casino mode" and I finished the game twice. It's a pretty solid game though.

Well listen you or someone else - delete your savegames if you have any and the start a new game and play through the prologue in the bar and after you are taken to the spaceship are released, jump back and start a new game to see if casino mode has been unlocked - its just above normal mode - s I said it appears to, even when im at the first level, Im not even close to beating the game - someone pleae check this - thanks in advance

No im not like this with everything but I really just need to know this - The game takes two miniutes to install - Could someone please check it - Please. Had the game installed from ages ago so i could just check it out and no, it's not unlocked from the start.

I've beat Prey like 10 times and I've never encountered this casino mode. I know that when you beat the game you unlock Cherokee (hard) difficulty, but that's about all I can think of.

Well that simply cannot be, because after the prologue the casino mode got unlocked with me - Felipe coould you still please check it

I have the EU version the one that is on 1 DVd not the NA 3 disc version by the way - could someone please check this, those who had the DVD version

Its not a glitch because I happen to have two copies of prey and I tried installingboth copies and Casino mode appears after the prologue in both copies with me,if Istart a new game when you are in the first level of the spaceship

well I must have an explanation or someone it must show up with after the prologue surely

I really am confused about all this - it bothers me like **** - could someone please help me out - an explanation to why it happens on both copies of the game Prey or if someone has the same thing happening to him - anything - i'm frustrated beyond words and I know that you really don't have to give a **** about it, but maybe there is some kind person who could actually help me or give me an explanation, google it or whatever(im not a tec wizard), please just help me out here

Im sorry - I just asked if you were telling the truth to be sure - im sorry that you misunderstand - it wasn't my intention to accuce you of lying - well why its so important is because well I have OCD(Obsessive compulsive disorder) and this from time to time created some problems, for example I think somethig is wrong with my system - I really appreciate that you answered and your patience - But please understand that it wasn't my intend to be annoying, small things just often creates huges problems for me, because there are so hard to figure out - The larger things doesn't bother me very much in my way of life - well as a musiciam therefore my name, you can't allow huge things to worry you, but yes I am very neurotic and I won't apologize for that

Now to wrap this up and not to offend you - you did not beat the game but just played past the prologue and then a new game and casino mode unlocked - also you didn't have previous saves where you had completed the game - because when you uninstall the game you don'yt delete the savegame folder

Again not to be rude but getting to actual gameplay in Prey takes very long - one of the longest interactive intro's I played - Mate I don't mean to offend you, but level qwith me man - did you really play past the prologue and got in the spaceship, exited the game, started name game and casino unlocked - honest truth man
