Game has horrible graphics NerubianWeaverA post like this makes me lol hard. This is a typical response of a new gamer that has not seen how gaming has evolved from an early stage. This guy prolly doesnt even realize fate of atlantis was originally from circa 1992. Heck the guy prolly wasn't even conceived yet as his mother was only a pre-teen herself... L....O....L
Guys, don't get your hopes up. I've been following this game for about four-five years now. It's setback after setback with no ETA on a full release. Enjoy the demo, but I'm still waiting :(

L....O....L Yeah, he is the "new" generation of gamer which just wants a generic shooter with big guns and mind blowing graphics..... he has no idea what Atlantis was (and did for gaming) back in the day....
Really? That's a shame.... can't take THAT long to create a game like this can it...?Guys, don't get your hopes up. I've been following this game for about four-five years now. It's setback after setback with no ETA on a full release. Enjoy the demo, but I'm still waiting :(

That child prolly a 12 year old boy that thinks that playing CoD all day is the most 'mature' thing to do. Prolly never playing anything els, except current gen. trash shooters.
Damn.. lol'ing..
He probably looked at the gameplay and went "What, I have to point and click....and WTF !! I have to actually THINK about solving puzzles...?"
He just said the graphics are horrible. You guys are really jumping to conclusions here. How do you know what kind of games he likes?[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="Lucianu"]

He just said the graphics are horrible. You guys are really jumping to conclusions here. How do you know what kind of games he likes? Yes, and by saying that he cleary has no idea what Indy and Atlantis was.....I loved classic adventure games like Monkey Island and Gabriel Knight, but now the genre is all but dead for me. Just a ton of fond memories. And say what you will about modern shooters, but they offer more replayability than an adventure game ever could. TentacleMayorHave you tried game from Telltale...
Yes, I remember, Great game! But I never managed to finish it, I started it few times but always stopped about half way thourgh the game. Maybe if a remake or this is released I can finally do it!

I know this may seem shocking on a forum and all, but maybe he was joking

same.
looks decent from the link but i always thought the indy games were the weaker lucasarts adventures in comparison with the early monkey island games, dott, sam and max htr, full throttle etc

back then there was no jumping online to find out how to solve a puzzle, you actually had to spend ages working it out for yourself or if you were lucky you might find a computer magazine with a guide, as you'll know.
these young gamers dont realise how hard the old school gamers had it ;)

Its a cool idea but like with the Secret of Monkey Island redux you'd think they could have modernised the interface. biggest_loserYes, but remember they are an amateur group just trying to make a game in their spare time.... they don't have a budget like Telltale....

I totally agree with you.
I think I was stuck on different parts of Atlantis for WEEKS..... whole game probably took me like 3 months to complete....
Now people just go online for a walkthrough, without even trying.....
