It's that time again. This time the horros of online play for your children. This is what Fox News has to say:

Anybody notice anything strange about the kids shown in the interview? How come all them kids look under 18? Isn't 18 years and over is require to play online?

I believe the minimum legal age to use an online service such as Live is 13. But then the age restrictions of each game specifically apply as well.

I actually think it was allright. They give parents tips on how to do something about the profanities kids should not hear. I liked the fact that they focus on parental control/education of your own kid in that video. No talk about banning gaming to hell or not allowing your kids to have an Xbox. Not the best journalism I've seen, but respectable. A whole lot better than their take on sex in Mass Effect, that just annoyed the hell out of me. Objectivity down the drain in that one.

BTW, this is one of the reasons I hate the online community. Those ****** deserve some ass-whooping for those racist/Hitler/gay-jokes. Idiots. Freaking idiots.

Ironically, it's the innocent little 12-year-old kids that spout some of the most offensive, racist comments. Just putting that out there. >_>

Here's a response for online play in general from Epileptic Gaming. The host can be disturbing but the arguments about the issue of online gaming is very understandable.

At 30 minutes should be your end time.

Edit: I wouldn't put it pass the host that he's also a cause for online trash talking.

Just why do they have to put it so dramatic ? I mean.. yes.. parents need to know, and that news could have been very interresting.. but why do they need to go on the SCARY side with all that credit card number stolen and the sex predator ?

Like if americans weren't scared enough... I mean come on.. Fox is just one among others that goes on bad propagenda to keep everyone at home and baricade their house !

Aww, did Fox get their feelings hurt on XBox Live?

Maybe they'd like a hug.

The TV show. I recently acquired the entire series and have been binging it over the past week and reliving my childhood. Great times.

ReBoot is probably my favourite television show of all time now after reliving the memories. There are still some of those references that go straight over my head. I am pissed that I missed the one with the virus Gigabyte: "I am become Gigabyte, destroyer of systems." Taken straight from the Bhagavad Gita with Vishnu: "I am become death, destory of worlds."

Well they weren't born with it were they?

That's pretty much the point of the fox news thing, that little kids say what they hear.

If you're 12, I can't imagine it's doing you any good listening to the trash that's said on CS and such.

The problem with these foul-mouthed kiddies is the fact that they think it's cool to shout expletives every other second. And we all know how kids always try to act older to fit in or seem "cooler" than they really are. Yes, it's pathetic but a reality nonetheless. Online anonymity as well just adds more fuel to this "I'm-cool-coz-I-can-curse" mentality.
