FP: Dragon Rising (PC or Xbox 360??)

I'm stuck as to which to buy. I'm mainly looking at getting FPDR for it's multiplayer, but there is the problem. I like the 32 player PC multiplayer, but at the same token some of my friends don't have gaming rigs capable of playing the game, so their getting it for the Xbox 360. But, with the Xbox 360 it's only 4v4 + 3 AI per person which I wouldn't think it would be as fun. So basically, play with friends with less human opponents, or play with more people on the PC but their not friends?

Which would you do?

Ok, I think I'll get it for the PC.. if I find that my friends are playing it 24/7 I'll just eventually pick it up for the 360 as well. I'm thinking my system should run it, it's kinda aging now (about 2-3 years old).. but it's a dual core 2.67, Nvidia 8800 GTS, and 2 gigs of ram.

PC has mission editor and mods. If the modding community embraces this game like they do ArmA, then the PC version is the ONLY version of the game in my eyes.

Thats true.. one reason why I loved CS/DOD, the mods and maps are awesome.

PC version will be the better. Although these questions should be asked in the General Gaming forum to get a less biased view. Ask these questions in PC forum and everyone will say PC, ask the same question in 360 forum and everyone will say 360 version.

Ya.. the console versions can only play with 8 people max, and 3 AI's per player I think. While the PC version can have 32 actual people playing instead of relying on allied player controlled bots to fill up the ranks.

Bottom line, I think ofp2 is going to suck. Too bad codemasters sold out and dumbed down the great OFP series for all the mainstream noobs.

It makes me wonder why they didn't provide a demo of it until AFTER it's released. Almost feels like they are hiding something.

The PC version will have betetr graphics, will most likely give you a choice of using keyboard/mouse or a gamepad, will most likely have a mission editor of sorts, will most likely cost less, it seems like a no brainer to me. Get the PC version.
