FPS - Help me remember the name of this game!!

Hey guys, I've been searching for a FPS game but I can't even remember its name.

All I remember is that it was very low budget and many people made fun of it. It was in development about 3-4 years ago and was a bit futuristic but still had trees and water and was set in an almost FarCry-like environment; everything had a very strange over-bumpmapped look to it.

Please help me remember the name of this game. It was NOT a big-name title and I don't even know if it ever reached stores.

Nah STALKER is way too popular.. in fact it isn't a bad game at all and the one I'm talking about is set more in the future - so much that vehicles/buildings/troopers have a metallic/futuristic look to them - but you're still fighting in a forest landscape and there is water too.

The game I'm talking about is a budget game that was never popular but was discovered by people and laughed at because of how laughably bad it was - especially the screens. :P

Nope, Sin is also a bit too old & popular to be the game I'm talking about, and it doesn't appear to be set in a forest/tropical environment.

If you are familiar with Chrome, the game had a similar visual style.

Nope, Pariah was not a very low-budget game and it was released on XBOX; this game is PC-only.

No, Tribes was NOT low budget and was popular. The complete opposite of this game.

I don't think you guys understand - I'm talking about a low budget and extremely unpopular game that may not have ever been released. I don't even think they released a demo for it. It was known about by maybe 100 people on the planet but was laughed at on several messageboards if I remember correctly because it looked so pathetic and was obviously low-budget and crappily made.

Possibly Chrome, Joint Operations? Chrome seems like the one I'd guess.

Not that I know of; like I said, I'm not even sure if it was ever released. You could just tell by the screenshots/videos that it was a horrible game. It reeked of low-budget crap but it was obvious the developers were trying to be ambitious visually because of the way everything looked overly-bumpmapped, as if the developers were trying to copy Doom 3 or FarCry or something.

Nope it's not Vivisector.. the game I'm referring to was in development anywhere from 2002 to 2004.. 2006 is a little too soon and it couldn't have been then.

I apologize that I can't provide further details.. I just barely remember it but I wish I could know the name again so that I could see if it was actually released or if they just scrapped it or something.

Definitely not Pariah or Breed although Pariah's setting reminds me A LOT of this game only its graphics weren't QUITE as good as Pariah's (though not too far away either.)

Yes I know, I used that Chrome screenshot as an example of what the game sort of reminded me of visually. It isn't the game, but it's similar looking.

Im pretty stumped on the games you're talking about too. Can you mentioned anything else? Vehicles? What was the main character? Any distinguishable guns? Game's country of origin? anything else at all?
