FPS with coop story mode?

I really love to play the story of good first person shooters with a friend. What games support this mode?

I've heard Rainbow Six: Raven Shield and SWAT 4 are very good for co-operative play.Doom_HellKnight

SWAT4 is brilliant in co-op, also, both R6 vegas games are great fun, as are both GRAW games

The R6 and SWAT games have been played through....
I'm more looking for a story driven game, a ****c FPS game.

Might have a look at gears of war. Seems a bit too unreal-tournament-shoot-everything-you-see-with-big-turbo-laser-x-power-guns for me, but I'll have a look. Thank you.

I started the same thread last night. Gears of War is GREAT! highly recommend. Yes it's futuristic kind of UT game, however they did a great job encorporating a COOP version. Ghost Recon is great w/ COOP. but really it's the older games that knew how to keep it COOP like Serious Sam and Doom II.

I dont blame you. Gears of war has set a sort of standard for co-op now. Everything will be in a way comepared to it.

agreed. Gears of War really set the standard now for COOP games. they made the story, movie scenes all integrate well w/ COOP mode as well as the fight sequences being able to really help your friend out, etc.

Yeah... You say FPS, you hear Shooter.

America's army has a co-op, but there's no storyline.

Gears of War has an online co-op for singleplayer, but is a third person shooter (a lot more fun having a friend to play with instead of the crappy AI).

I love co-op story mode FPS but I have the same problem guys!

I've plaid:
All Rainbow including Vegas 2 (finished yesterday btw)
All GRAW
Gears of War

now what's next?
