Free MMOs??

So I started looking at playing a free MMO and so far I looked at three that look interesting, Perfect World, Red Stone, and Shadow Bane.

I was wondering are these three any good or bad, and why?

And what Free MMOs do you guys prefer and why?

well in terms of completely free i guess your list is okay but id add guild wars to the mix and itd pwn everything in content amount and community alone XD

Only such game I ever liked is Trickster Online.

But it still has an MMO feel to it, while being better than all the free MMO's out there.

To TC, if the monthly fee is what is detering you from an MMO, pick up Guild Wars. It is an excellent game.

The best free mmorpg is Runes of Magic. It's the WoW of free mmorpgs.

Anyway Runes of magic is a free MMO where you can buy diamonds for money (not required as you can find them in game also)

Most free mmos are crap. Either they are quirky Asian ports full of bugs and a currency you have to pay for along with immature players; or they have a premium version and adds all over the page.

Personally, I don't think scraping 15 bucks a month is that hard, even without a job. If you don't have a credit card, you are to young to play mmorpg's... Do us all a favor and play offline.

Guild wars is most definitely a mmo, and I would suggest it before trying any asian ports, it's worth the one time 30 bucks if you are not into paying monthly.

Anarchy Online, it's old but still nice.

Of these, I have only played Perfect World. I like the music and the setting. I played to level 20, and got bored with it. If you have time to spare, it's worth at least trying. If you play as an elf, you can fly early in the game, which opens up a vertical layer of the world that other races cannot play until much later in the game.

Okay, so far your suggestions sound good to me.

I started a free trial of Guild Wars and so far I like it, I just now heard from a friend who plays WoW say it is shutting down soon???

I'm now looking at Runes of Magic, and Requiem. I'm going to give Requiem a try.

I have a slighty different question this time.

Which MMO game should I check out that I must buy, but don't have to pay a monthly fee for?
