Recently I have got pulled back into the MMO ring after spedning nearly 3 years off from my last addiction (Runescape) :P. I'm trying to find a game to get back in the loop with and don't really want to pay to much for something I may only play a few times a week. I was thinking of getting Diablo...

Any suggestions?

i think SilkRoad is the best free MMO out there, even tho theres a lot of grinding, but if you used to play Runespace its going to feel like a nice breeze, you could also check out Perfect World, and i heard Rising Force is free now but iam not sure

I played SilkRoad and it was horrible... Not because the game was bad itself, but because gold farmers crowd the server 24/7 and you can't even log in (player limit on each server). I joined the day a new server came out and that one was overpopulated within the first hour (not to mention each time you log in you have to enter a anti-bot code and if the server is full the game exits so you have to restart the game, enter the code again, and pray). I cannot recommend this game to anyone...

=p, last time ive played they had a brand new server, and the european patch that introduced a new set of classes to the game, yes farmers can be a problem, but the server wasnt crowded i could always find a good spot to level up, the only problem as i said is the insane griding and expensive items due to Ebayers&Farmers

Yeap. This used to be a full-fledged MMO but became free awhile ago. So it's not necessarily built on the same uber grind-fest that you free MMO players love so much

Holic is pretty fun. I've been playing that lately.
