Hey guys, dont suggest WoW, I dont like the combat. anyway ill describe my request: A free roaming game that plays similar to Oblivion, you make your character, then you can go anywhere in the world. But the cache is, I want other players to be in the same free roaming world, and if by mere coinceidence all the players in that worldcouldmeet up at one place. I want players to be able to form bandit clans, they setup shop near a road, and if another player wonders by they attack, ect. ANYTHING could be possible, it would be all up to the players to control the world. so in short terms i want a SANDBOX MMO or basiclly a oblivion MMO. anything like this guys? or anything coming out thats like this? thanks.

Doesnt excist, closest thing that comes to mind is UO, except you sound like someone obsessed with graphics. OR Darkfall online. Thats about it.

That doesn't exist. Lord of the ring online is kinda close to what you are describing and the combat is a lot better than the one in wow ;)

Yeah I doubt a game like that exist. REason it would be chaos. Low lvl characters would be getting killed left and Right. Remember South Park "Mark Love not Warcraft" when that guy went around killing everyone making everyone angry and quit the game. That is prob what would happen if a game like that existed.

Darkfall online fits your description, but it's a buggy mess.

Darkfall is available in the US as well, but as far as I know the only server is over in Europe. You'll still get a decent ping though. I've heard getting an account is not longer a problem.

Mortal Online coming out might be closer to what you want. Though it's still in beta. It is seemingly like an Oblivion meets Ultima Online(a game you use to be able to block peoples way into town with by making them pay or killing them haha) from what I have read/seen

Ultima Online was exactly like that back in the day (greatest MMO ever!), but then they ruined it with the whole tram/fel thing and then tried to turn it into a Diablo 2 style loot fest, which thoroughly killed off what made UO so awesome.
