Okay guys so I played both games and I just thought I'd talk about them. I went through some Pros and Cons and this is what i've come up with. Freelancer has direct ship control, so over-all you're more involved in everything in the gameworld. But, apparently Freelancer's servers have been permanently shut down, so online play isnt a comparison here, but Freelancer is still LANABLE, which is the most fun anyways. Being able to adventure with friends right next to you is great. And those are the two main things that get me about EVE. Yeah, the community is awesome and it's addictive to hell and back, but it's something you play alone, and, given space is already lonely, it's really nice to be able to directly interact with people in the gameworld, and thats why I lean more for freelancer. It's simply more fun. What do you guys think?

i don't see how they are all that similar. They are both space games.. that's about it?

Freelancer is a space action game, but i will admit it does take a few queues from MMO gameplay, Eve online is a subscription based mmorpg.

About Eve, early on the game is pretty solo oriented if you choose to do missions. However, once you have a decent ship and had some time playing you really need to join a corporation if you want to get ahead.

Not telling you which one to get, but Eve isn't as lonely as you make it out to be.
