So i spent today inside my case fitting GTX 480 :) some cable management and moving hard drives to accommodate the huge gfx card... whilst i was there i decided to fit the freezer pro i have only to find the fan doesnt spin. At boot it gives 1 revolution and thats about it... nothing else.

I`ve tried the bios for fan settings with not much luck, so i used the fan from the stock heatsink and ghetto fitted it to the mount with zip ties.

My temps are fine 24° idle and 42° load (core temp, running prime 95 for 30 mins) at stock speed 3.1ghz< Would you chance overclocking?

D`Oh... D`Oh.... D`Oh I`m an idiot. after trying a lot of fixies for the fan and about to bin it i found the problem :D All i had to do was push the centre of the fan to lock it in place, haha. Is this normal for the freezer pro 7?

I had no problems like that with mine.

The 480 is a nice card, have fun :)
