I mainly play console games for past 2 years, but I would like to play more pc games recently.

Right now, I have L4D2, Starcraft 2 and Medieval 2 in my pc, and I was an intense guild war gamer couple years ago. Are there any more fresh pc games that I should give it a try? thanks

my pc spec is

CPU: Intel Q8200

Ram: 6GB

GPU: ATI 4770 512mb

OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Crysis is a good PC exclusive and a must get.

Also consider some older games that look and run great on the PC like, Star wars Knights of the Old Republic, and Half Life 2... The Witcher and Witcher 2 are also two definite PC buys.

Also check out http://store.steampowered.com/, They are currently having their summer sale and you can pick up great deals on a wide variety of really good games. Theres round 4 of the sale going on now and the next round starts in about 3 hours. Steam is a must have client for any major PC gamer.

Also get Dragon Age Origins, it's currently $10.20 on Steam and an overall excellent game. I better stop editing now because I could go on forever!

Minecraft and Terraria are must buys, but you might wait on Minecraft until 1.8 comes out, its promising to be the best update yet, its completely redoing the adventure aspect of the game.

Crysis is a good looking game if your system can run it on max but it's not the most fun first person shooter. I personally find the game to be only average, the pacing is horrible, just a good looking game that show off what pc can do.

I'd recommend the orange box, Half life 2 (along with episode 1 and 2), portal, portal 2 and Team fortress 2 are must play. These games are so good it can not be missed.

Some other choices:

Starcraft 2

The longest journey

Battlefield Ban Company 2

Obilivion

Diablo 2: lord of destruction

The valve complete pack (Everything from half life to portal 2) is $50 on steam right now for the summer sale. That's an insane bargain. Also, TF2, the best multiplayer game out there, is free to play on steam.

Edit: Linked.
