Ok, well, its my lucky christmas day today. i was playing on my 360, i turned my computer on to see if i could connect to the internet as its been down for about a week now, well the wireless connectivity on it, anyway, i when to play on my 360 again and didn't turn off my computerafter an anoying sestion of skate, i dissded to chill out and play some CoD, so i turn to my computer and my moniters was in sleep mode, like it should of been, but i realised that my G11 keyboard light where off, and so was my G5 mouse. so i was like, whats going on? checked to see if i wasn't just hearing things and seen if my computer was on, and it was. I pressed the power button to turn it off, then turned it back on, it wasde bleeping noises, in this kind of way .............. Nurrrrr Nurrrrr Nurrrr ........... Nurrrr Nurrrr Nurrrrrr. turned it off and let it cool for about 5 mins, tunred it back on and seemed to work ok, whent to play on CoD then about 10 mins later, it "shut off" again, and did the same thing, kept making the noises, now it whont even boot up, and the fan keeps going mental. Anyone help a merry man out here? don't want to spend the money from xmas to buy new parts, rarther than 5 games from my 360 :/

Their could be a problem with your Power Supply Unit.

Or your PC could be overheating.

You PSU could be defective, try replacing it.

Does your PC boot up anymore?

No way in hell does that card need 400w. I've seen a computer run a GTX on 370w. Try out the 320w one. It may be pushing it, but it's worth a shot.

Yeah, it's best because you'll be running other things and it gives you overhead in case you install anything else. I'd give it a shot and see if it works. Or try that psu on another computer if you have one laying around.

320w can handle it but in hard way. However, since you just need to test your system then its your choice.

I'm 100% sure that the problem isn't your Hard Drive.

Problem is something else. Mybe RAM, Processor, motherboard, graphic card or the PSU.
