so like a dumbass i removed my sound card while pc was running and my P8P67Pro died... Do you guys think i can RMA it with Asus or am i boned for good?

I did the exact same thing like a year back, I have an MSI board and I RMA'd it no problem

i hope it works with asus cuz i really don't want to spend almost $200 for another mobo. how long did it took you to get your board back and was it repaired or a new version was sent to you?

@silversix_: I once messed my previous board up, just make sure you bend the truth a little to make it look like the boards fault. Dont say what you said to us, lol

Be happy yours is not Biostar it took me like a month to get my replacement. It would probably not take that long with a big company like Asus maybe 2 weeks.

The only thing I remove while my PC is running is the side panel of my case which has fan stick to it.

As long as the part doesn't seemed like you intentionally damaged it to get a replacement it's all good.

small question for those who've done this before. am i supposed to send the cables and other stuff that came with my mobo or only the motherboard with socket shield?

They should clarify that to you when you purchase, I am guessing based off of previous RMAs of numerous products including a MOBO
