if you both have half-life or half-life2 theirs about 23852 mods you can play. great mod for hl1 is natural selection, it has a pretty big learning curve but once you get it, its a blast. theirs alot of hl2 mods...i would just check out www.moddb.com and look up hl2. like said above, gears of war pc is coming out soon. team fortress 2 component of the orange box is great too. if your looking for a realistic military game, try Arma (Armed Assasult).

My recommendation. I doubt the online community still exists but even with people I didn't know, randomly jumping into a 4-player co-op game and taking down those huge bad guys was fun as heck!
