the 9800gt =8800gt with better cooling so its pretty old and not worth it to me , you should get 4850 which its slightly more powerfull than 9800gtx + and cheaper too .

If it is the ASUS 9800GT Ultimate, it is a flashed 8800GTS 512mb that is OC'ed to within spitting distance of a 9800GTX+. So if he is getting it for ~$80 it would be a good deal.

Guys he raised the price to $100. But still, according to this site it outperforms the 4850 and newegg wants about $150 for a decent 4850 and from what I can tell by reviews the GT Ultimate outperforms 4850 and doesnt run as hot.

Did you read the review in my message, the 9800 GT Ultimate outperformed the 4850 on every game, also im getting it for about $50 cheaper than I can get a 4850, and it runs cooler, I dont see what I would even consider a 4850 unless im not seeing something??

Something to note about that review. The 9800GT Ultimate, by ASUS, is the one that is beating the 4850. This is no average 9800GT though. The average 9800GT is a rebranded 8800GT, however the 9800GT Ultimate is a rebranded 8800GTS 512, a significantly better card. Unless you are being sold an Ultimate, which I highly doubt, the 4850 will be better.

If its a standard 9800gt, with rebate you can get one for $110, I think even a "recertified" one is $110 with no rebate, so its not much of a deal and you probably get no warranty.
