Looks strange and interesting!
I bought Zeno Clash with that impulse, and was very pleasantly surprised!
I think I might have to try this, what is the price?
EDIT: I found the price, $15. (same as Zeno Clash) I am sure Steam will have it on as one of its' many sales, Pick it up for a few dollars like I did with Zeno Clash.
People are still debating whether it will appear on Steam. Some sources say it will, while others say that might have changed. It's difficult to say as the game comes out in only a few days, and it's not even listed on Steam.
I'm happy SPAZ is coming though. Three weeks away though :(.
The game looks fun, just like Populous The Beginning did back then. For the price asked I'll buy on day one. RyuRanVIIThis is why I am interested in it. Populous was one of my fav games back in my Amiga days, and if it is half as good I will be pleased. But I was hoping to pick it up on Steam.
I'm buying this for sure, along with another interesting game called Overgrowth.
Zubinen
Hey Zub never heard of overgrowth have a link??
Nutcracker some where i heard its coming on steam..Dont have a link just heard it..
From Dust looks amazing. I'm definitely going to pick it up this week, even just to watch the beautiful engine at work. And if there's a game attached to it, well, that's just the icing on the cake!
And wow, I had not heard of Overgrowth. Thanks for mentioning that. I always loved the Redwall books as a kid, so that one hits home. :D Preorderd.
Can anyone convince me that it is not a glorified map editor?
Seriously, I love God games, but I am just not sold on this one.
Oh, and if you guys are curious about some other up and coming must-buy indie games:
Overgrowth - A game that will feature active ragdoll physics(characters try to cover their heads when falling, and blood squirts from arteries depending on where a character is injured and how severe the injury is - not to mention the blood behaves similar to how it would in real life, extensive kung-fu fighting/parkour/wall running(possibly better than almost any game has achieved thus far), extensive modding support, and a vast non-repeating open world(unlike games such as Oblivion where the same 50 square meters of land are copy pasted thousands of times), and character animations behave in accordance with actual physics rather than being the same animations over and over.
Minerwars 2081 - It's basically the mining portion of Eve Online turned into a space-sim, with fully destructible environments and realistic physics(you have to compensate for the fact that the ship you control is in a zero gravity environment and missiles can fully destroy objects/asteroids until there is nothing left) and is being developed by some of the guys that made Red Faction: Guerrilla. You get a 70% discount if you buy it in the alpha stages(~$13) since at full release it will be $49.99.
This just got delayed until August 17th. You can thank Summer of Arcade for that, since games need a four week window of exclusivity to be in that event and the delay is about 4 weeks.hypoty
Damn, I was really looking forward to playing this. Oh well, it gives me time to work through Aquaria at least.
