Don't get it. Go to starbucks and get something nicer.

Well something like battlefield bad company in singleplayer. Try to think it as cod4 but with less weapons and bigger maps with vehicles. The sp is pretty short but its ok. Multiplayer? Well i think its dead. If i was you i would get it right away for that price.dakan45

Multiplayer is dead and the singleplayer sucks, so considering the quality of the game, it's 3.5$ too much.

Better spend your money on some indie game that deserves 7.5$.

its a great game- you should not think to much about what some folks say- many crap on most all of these fps games period- go thread to thread crapping on fps games- id bet money they have never even played the games-say every last 1 of them are crap- and you can look at their avy or sig and see they are more less into other genre games to start with- they are more into games like wow rpg type games and just post and say a game is crap just to post or have something to do or just to hear them selves talk.. go thread to thread with the same junk- go buy coffee or what ever- gs should ban these folks- they are like smart mouth kids trying to act cute or hard- gs really should ban them..

ffow its sp is a lil short but has 2 added maps you can play when you finish the campaign- it is fun and looks nice its use of the ut3 engine is better than it is in the ut3 game- it has rc drones and tanks and is not a bad game- i dont play mp- this game like all the others was hacked and cheated its very first day on line and was well complained about- so- i dont care that mp sucked- i think all mp games should be shut down- few playing them are honest.

but my 1 complaint about ffow is the sighting system its a lil odd and takes a lil getting use too- you will not hit what you aim at unless the site glows red- oh ya it has check points and not quick saves [if i remember right]- i really hate check points games my self- is ffow the best game god ever made no- is any no- all of them have its faults period- but it runs like a top out of the box and is not buggy crap- that says a lot too- but if ffow is cheap- yes you should buy play and hopefully enjoy it..

got this game last christmas for a massive 98p (about $1.60) lol. It was ok, played through SP then left it, didnt bother downloading any patches to try MP.

its been a year or so since i played it last- i did a video walk/ play through but have not uploaded all of them yet- i have some videos that need to be edited- and playing these games with check points and cant just save where or when you want is a bit more hard to record- if you stop playing videos dont seem to start where you stopped in the last so you might have to trim a lil etc.

so i cant remeber all the level names- i like the level just after this the tank battle and nukes going off is cool- and other levels too- the extra levels are fun too.. but i really like the drones in the game- they make ffow different- its the first and only games ive played that has them- they are a nice touch i think.

when or if i install this w7 hp upgrade i have i might just install and play again and start my video play through over again- i will have more memory and all so maxing it out should be no prob- i think my last vids i had to lower shadows a lil. but just for added performance while trying to record while playing and not have lag etc- if not recording i can max settings and res too- i can max settings and res in most all my games if just playing and @ 1600x1200 85hrz but recording i drop to 1024x768 75hrz which is my dtop res. text etc is a lil larger and more easy for my getting old eyes to see- 48 last month- i can see fine- but small text and on packages etc are getting hard to see- so i have either a magni glass or now some drug store reading glasses for that lil stuff- im just glad i still have my old sweet crt and can lower res and still have great graphics-

i hope i never have to downgrade to lcd and extra high crap native res that i cant lower if i want and it still look nice- i think lcd's are the biggest rip off in the resent past- and i laugh so hard when silly fools cry he cant max out his game and is running some stupid extra large extra high res lcd- and then wonder why- its because they dont have enough system to push them high res in high resource games-- but their systems are fine a dandy for glorified surfing or viewing video- they never seem to understand playing games is different-and then you need a fast lcd for gaming 2ms so no or lil ghosting but then normal use sucks- or get the best for normal use and gaming sucks- and i do not like wide screen either- im sad tho- when my crt dies i cant buy them any more like talking about it- i will be stuck with a crap lcd.well and have to save money for it- but i think id get none wide 1280x1024 and have plenty of system left over for recording my games with everything maxed out. common sense stuff..

dude stay away from this game.. i bought this game at launch. talk about disappointment.... first the campaign isn't very good...although the plot seems very interesting..they dont really make a good sp experience..the aiming in this game is horrible..here ill let a pc gaming review site explain this

It's difficult, for example, to aim and shoot a moving opponent, while you're standing still and that, frankly, isn't exactly a difficult thing to accomplish with a decent mouse and an above-average frame rate. For some reason or another, the crosshair "floats" around the screen, and the majority of the weapons suffer from a very annoying recoil effect when fired. It's not fun, and if the shooting part in a first-person shooter isn't fun it's _bad_. There's also the lack of "punch" when you fire. You don't feel like wielding a deadly weapon in World War 3, because the actual feeling would be more at home in a Paintball court. on top of that..the mp is dead... there is no voip in game... its very buggy...no joystick support... waste of $50 bucks for me.. trust me STAY AWAY!!

Pfff stupid review, the aiming is meant to be like that in order to have are reallistic recoil system, not many games do that. As fo the sounds? Well neither the sounds in reallistic games like arma 2 or raven shield feel like it, but they are pretty much the same. The weapons dont do high damage because you need more hitpoints to survive in sp. I played far more "annoying" games that you have to shoot someone too many times. Also whats wrong with the framerate? I maxed out the game with 8600 gt and a dual core 2.6ghz cpu. I experianced 0 bugs in singleplayer.dakan45

Hey whats wrong i thought pc gamers like their games not to be dumbed down but with unfairly harder gameplay mechanics in order to provide a better gameplay experiance on the pc :D

Also sp was actually good considering it was mainly a multiplayer game, eg compared to l4d the singleplayer is much better.

Purchased the game on Steam for 2.50 euro, installed it, couldn't play single player because of constant crashes during the loading screen, tried the multiplayer, got bored & confused, uninstalled the game.

Verdict. Do not buy this game.

God your posts make you want to scream, what's with all the " - "? Just make sentences not pauses, or a sentence that is within a sentence that is also withing a sentence, etc.

1) If it's great, then why is it so great? there is nothing, absolutely nothing that this game does "decent", they failed even with the graphics, it looks a lot worse than any UE 3 game.

2) He asked for our opinion, so if you do bot know what opinion is, you might want to look that up into a dictionary or simply "google it". Asking for an opinion = wanting to hear what other people think about "XYZ".

3) Many FPSs are crap, because we get hundreds every year and most of them aren't even worth mentioning, of course people will bash games that are crap.

4) Go official forums, they don't even like it. Oh right, it's dead anyway.

5) How much money did you bet? I finished the campaign and online I played for 2 days or so, around 10 hours, half of which were races with drones...yes, sorry, I forgot about this...this is what they did "decently", the drones, racing with the drones is pretty fun. Expecting news on that funny "bet" of yours ;) assumption doesn't work great, just a little hint for your next "bets".

6) My avatar has nothing to do with anything, yes I like anime and I hate JRPGs, most of them, some I like. Yep you "showed" me :(. You will get mixed reactions to this game from the members here. Personally, I enjoyed the game quite a bit, as I thought the game had good graphics, game mechanics, and storyline. I noticed some other members here stated it is basically like a multiplayer game being played in single player mode. Well, this just isn't true, as the game has a storyline and objectives that have to be completed. For $7.50 I can't see where you can go wrong with this game.
