full tower seems to be the best choice if you want space to work with. I have had many many towers and the main reason I use full now is because of cable management. mid towers are very hard to keep clean looking inthere. If you dont mind that then there are plenty of mid cases with lots of room inside for multiple cards/drives.
I just recomment full for a cleaner look inside.
Your hard drives will thank you for the additional space. Having a full tower will allow them some breathing room, lowering their operating temperature and increasing their longevity. Because so many other features have been integrated into the motherboard and USB peripherals, the number of drives is typically the deciding factor.
Good luck.
[QUOTE="lordlors"]does the 8800 series video cards fit in the mid tower cases? It doesn't seem like it can fit.76ers
It can. My 8800GTS fits perfectly and still has lots of room to work with in a mid-tower case.
whoa. i bought a gigabyte 3daurora case because i thought my 8800 GTS wouldn't fit in my old mid-tower case. anyway, you can fit anything in the full tower and is future proof so it was still worth it.
that armor will serve you well, i bought one last month, i got the one without the big fan on the side though. anyways, the armors have more than enough room for anything youll ever put in your computer, and all my temps went down by at least 10.0C.
i would also sugest you throw out that fan controller unless you want to replace all the fans that come with the case, they all use 4pin molex.
they also just released some new armor casses and a remake of the one you have on that list, they look really good, id take a look if i were you. i wish i would have waited a month so i could have gotten one of them.
Here is what I would get:
X38 mobo ~200
Q6600 ~300
2x HD 3870 ~440
Corsair 620 PSU ~150
2x1gb Crucial RAM ~60
Tuniq Tower ~45
500gb HDD ~100
SATA DVD Burner ~30
Case is personal preferance
All that for ~1300 plus case and it is definetaly better then what you picked.

True. I kinda wish I bought a full tower case though. It's a lot harder to install a good watercooling kit in a mid tower...
Oh Here while we're on the subject of full towers, in response to the guy who mentioned the new Armor cases, I took note of your suggestion and, well I am impressed with both the new Armor and the new Xaeser VI cases. Does anyone know which of these two cases should I get, I'd really go with the Armor as My first choice but the Xaeser VI case looks more solid-ish. Here's pics of these cases so's anyone who's unfamiliar with them can have a look. I think both cases have the same amount of room inside, correct me if I'm wrong.
