Fun LAN Games

Hi guys, having another LAN Party soon and just wanted any suggestions on some fun games I should get that can be played LAN with about 4-8 people, preferrably newer games with really good graphics, i love showing off my killer hardware:)

games we know we'll already be playing are supreme commander, asherons call (an MMORPG we all play), neverwinter knights, little bit of call of duty 2, battlefield2, battlefield 2142

Well it won't satisfy in the graphics dept, but Worms is fun as h*** with friends imo.

edit: I'd like to add Prey. More up to date graphics and some weird as heck multiplayer maps. My friend and I have a blast in that game.

COD2 is a great choice, game of choice at my lans.

Your presence on this forum seems odd then. You're safe going with a lot of Half-Life 2 mods. Insurgency is a great one, it's a very realistic tactical game. Should result in a lot of laughs when people get the jump on other people. Looks great too.

The graphics are pretty good, don't know if its good as supreme commander's since I never played it

so you've got there BF2 and 2142 already - that's good :)

CS: S i guess - and C&C Generals + Zero Hour of course for 8 people is the coooooolest - sending nuclear missle and skud storm every sec - WOHO that map would explode with 8 people

That's still funny about the "CPU games".  Now there is someone who doesn't know much about technology.  I remember when my dad would call the PC tower the "CPU".  I guess some people have equated "CPU" with PC's not realizing that the "CPU" is just a piece of the overall system and that it is also in a console as well.
