Just came across this, it is one of the better videos I have seen.

I have always wanted to try some of these things out with my own buddies, I want to see what it looks like from the "launched" persons view.

Link some of the best videos you guys have seen.

Still pails in comparison to the Crysis 3000 Barrels video. Sure it's not in real time, but it is awesome to watch.

Yea, ok so the game kind of lacks in that department... But that stuff does just look fun...

I was pretty sure it was on the editor that ships with the game :?
(unless you want to consider that a mod...)

They slow it down to around 1 FPS, then speed it up afterward.
Edit: At least some people slow it down and then speed it up.

Crysis doesn't have mods that alter the physics....it's all "vanilla" >_>

Anyway pretty fun, the delayed patch would be even better but DICE is trolling (Oh I thought that guy worked on it...no you were suppose to....wasn't John the one?...no he's on vacation...etc).

A lot of people seem to think it has some of the best physics... I dunno why, all it seems to have is basic gravity.

1st sign of decent Physics for me has to be Half Life 2... Pushing the roundabout or the swings, balancing the breeze blocks to counter balance your weight, the gravity gun hurling bodies, boyancy in water... I still love HL2 for this. In BC2 I shotgun some guy and he hurls 20 feet backwards, hillarious! I see bodies hanging halfway through doors or wirefences, with their arms dangling, flapping or waving lol.

Having physics and having good physics are two completely separate things. Most games have physics, but most of them do not have good physics. And yes that does look like fun. It makes me think of the GTA 4 swing or even the Halo 2 glitch with the tank on Zanzibar.

Its not a game that should be brought up in any sort of physics king threads more like the game that should have awesome physics but doesnt :(

yea but it does it extremely well imo.

Most other games' physics tend be exagerated; that is why on many occasions you have glitches, i.e. barrels falling down stairs that dont stop moving, bodies that look like theyre in some sort of vortex, etc

BC2 just does realistic, fundamental physics extremely well, and gamers are not used to it because theyre used to the excessive physics we have gotten accustomed to.

What? No... Bodies are flapping around, they can be hurled through the air with a shotgun of about 20 feet, the ammo/medic packs slide as if they're on ice, the only good physics really is the building collapsing.

A lot of people seem to think that I am braging about BFBC2's physics... I'm not. I know this game has a poor physics engine and the destruction is also very scripted (even though the destruction of the ground impresses me). If you guys were to watch the video that I posted, you would know that it shows how "crazy" the physics are. They have tanks flying way off in the distance and other crazy things.

I see it all the time. Bodies often fly very high and far when sniped or hit by a shotgun. Corpses will often dance around when they get "stuck" in the geometry of the game. Also, jump on a barrel or a wooden box when you get a chance. The thing will fly 50 feet in the air.

There's a video on youtbube, can't find the link though... basically you shoot a rocket and it BOUNCES 100mph off a tree, a guy jumps on top of a heli and is being dragged around on the propellas like a rag doll, grenades don't always roll and 'stick' to the ground and are rather bouncey if they hit walls (especially a pain when it bounces back your way! lol), walking into tables, chairs and boxes crushes them if they're up against the wall, no boyancy whilst swimming, just a flat surface (imagine floating in water bobbing up and down to give the feel of sea sickness), jumping and throwing C4 gives it double the range... there's all sorts wrong with this, so if anyone thinks the physics are releastic in this game, they need to get out into the real world :D

That's script based destruction, Red Faction Guerrilla is an example of physics based destruction.

Sorry I didn't mean you specifically, just I've seen in other threads people commending the game for its fantastic physics.

Try walking into a freaking barrel or box. The game's physics engine is crap.

Pretty easy physics engine. Somehow Just Cause 2 have more fun engine since it is absurd.

Again people... Watch the video... I am not saying that BFBC2 has a good physics engine, not even the building destruction is that great. Many games have a better physics engine... Half-Life 2, Red Faction 3, Crysis/Warhead, Mirror's Edge, and even F.E.A.R. (which I think still has some of the best looking water physics... seriously, go back and play it).

Stop taking this thread seriously and watch the video... it is FUNNY, not serious.
